The Coldest House Dj that ever came through chicago was Hands Down,Farley JackMaster Funk.He set the trend so hi,on his long blends, scracthing, remixing, all kinds of tricks, his presence.Everything about the man was off the change. The man would put one record on and set the stage for the rest of the night.
i've been putting some thought into this, & i don't think that i can limit it to just one. chi-town has seen some fabulous djs. but of course farley did set the tone 4 the others to follow.
Coming from an intelligent beautiful black women.Their you have it Dj Terry James.Nothing against Mr.Hardy.I'm sure he's right up there.I never had a chance to here him live.
Farley was great, I never got to see Ron or Frankie live back in the day. I recently saw Frankie but never in his heyday!! But i still liked them all farley, pharris, boo, gene, terry. Farley was just the big known one. The Hot Mix 5 were all great to me. WBMX days wow what a great time.. I really want to go to that concert on saturday to see some of the greats!!!!
